Archiving & Rerelease:
*All on-line portfolios will be posted for three months. After that time has passed Megan Sachs Photography will be happy to re-release your images for viewing at a $20 fee.
*Please note: All client's digital images will be archived for one year from your photo session or wedding date. After the one year time period has passed Megan Sachs Photography reserves the right to dispose of and/or erase all of your digital negatives. If the client would like to purchase their digital negatives at that time, at a discounted rate it is the client's responsibility to contact Megan Sachs the month prior to the one year anniversary.
The photography session:
I always go to my clients for their photo sessions. I have found that the comfort and privacy you have in your own home allows you and your family to relax and enjoy your experience to its fullest. You may also request to have your session at a location such as a beach or park. I work primarily in Orange County, but I will also travel to Los Angeles and San Diego for photo sessions.
Each sitting lasts approximately 1 hour. When I am photographing infants and young children sometimes more time is needed for feeding or changing diapers and the like. I encourage you to do what you need in order to be comfortable and relaxed for your photo session. There is no time limit or extra charge for a session that lasts longer than an hour. During the session I take 75-100 digital images.
What to wear:
Clothing in solid colors looks best in photographs because it does not distract from the person or persons being photographed. For family portraits, it is a good idea to have everyone wear similar colors. I also provide a selection of material and tops that can be used by women taking pregnancy portraits. Keep in mind that before your session you should try not to wear anything tight that might leave red marks on your skin. Such marks, usually on shoulders or a pregnant belly, may show up in the photos. If you choose, you will also have an opportunity to change your wardrobe throughout the photo session.
What happens next:
I will send your private on-line portfolio of the best 50 images to you via e-mail. You can let me know, at the end of the session, if you would like those proofs in color or black and white. Once you have received your on-line portfolio it will be posted for three months for you to choose which images you would like to order. After you have decided which photos you would like printed, you will need to tell me; what number the image is, how many you want, what size prints you want, and if you want them in color, black and white, or sepia tone.
